Hello. I know, this post is typical, but I couldn’t just not write it. I am not celebrating in any way at all (I’m taking a mental health day), I didn’t even go to see the parade, even though it went down my street, BUT I am still very proud to be mistaken for an Irish person and I have more love for this country and its people than I have for my own.
Anyway, here are some stories by Irish authors I enjoyed, although some of them I did prefer as movies. Guess which ones.

Books mentioned:
- Perfectly Preventable Deaths by Deirdre Sullivan
- The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
- Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift
- Room by Emma Donoghue
- The Storm Keeper’s Island by Catherine Doyle
- Dracula by Bram Stoker
As always, Goodreads links are hidden under the titles.
Thank you for reading.
